Privacy Policy

1. Information we process

• Account information: email address, authentication identifiers, and sign-in provider information when you use email, Apple, or Google sign-in.
• Business and workspace information: business name, contact details, logo, and workspace preferences you choose to provide.
• Project content: project names, customer details, locations, change orders, invoices, line items, amounts, dates, notes, photos, and signatures.
• Subscription and entitlement information: product status, plan type, entitlement dates, and restore-purchase results. Apple processes payment information; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
• AI usage information: prompts, relevant project context, generated responses, usage counts, plan limits, and reset periods.
• Technical information: app version, device/platform information, diagnostics, and security logs when necessary to operate and protect the service.

2. How we use information

• Provide account access, cloud synchronization, PDF generation, signatures, invoices, and workspace features.
• Generate AI-assisted drafts and structured invoice items at your request.
• Verify subscription entitlements and enforce monthly AI allowances.
• Respond to support requests, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and improve reliability.
• Comply with applicable law and enforce our Terms of Use.

3. AI processing

When you use Contractor AI or Invoice Assistant, the text you submit and limited relevant context may be transmitted to an AI service provider to generate the requested output. Do not submit sensitive personal data, payment-card information, government identifiers, medical information, or information you are not authorized to process. AI output is generated automatically and must be reviewed by you before use.

4. Service providers

We use service providers to operate the App, including Apple for App Store distribution and in-app purchases, Supabase for authentication, database, storage, and server functions, and OpenAI for AI generation. These providers process data under their own terms and privacy commitments. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.

5. Data retention

We retain account and project information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. Data may be retained for a limited period in backups, security logs, transaction records, or where required by law. AI usage records may be retained to operate allowances, detect abuse, and support billing or troubleshooting.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including account authentication and access-control rules. No system can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device and account credentials.

7. Your choices and rights

You may review or update certain information in the App, sign out, manage your Apple subscription, restore purchases, or request account deletion. Depending on your location, you may also have legal rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or receive a copy of personal data.

8. Account deletion

You can request deletion in Workspace Settings → Delete Account. You may also follow our account deletion instructions or contact support. Deleting the App does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription; subscriptions must be managed in your Apple Account settings.

9. Children

The App is designed for business use and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. International processing

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own where our service providers operate. Applicable safeguards may vary by jurisdiction.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as the App evolves. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published.
